Our property is located in the peaceful setting of the ETNA Natural Park, between Europe’s largest and most active volcano and the fantastic sea and beaches of the Nature Reserve of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia, Marina di Cottone.

In fact, it is only 30 minutes from the northern slope of Mount Etna and its ski resorts at Piano Provenzana, 50 minutes from the southern slope and Rifugio Sapienza, 20 minutes from the Alcantara Gorges, 15 minutes from the beaches of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia, 20 minutes from those of Giardini Naxos and Letojanni, and 25 minutes from Taormina and Isola Bella.<\/p>\n

The Alcantara River has carved the spectacular Alcantara Gorges, lava canyons with unique basaltic prisms. Stretching 400 meters long, with walls reaching up to 50 meters high, this natural wonder was recognized in 2010 as a European Destination of Excellence (EDEN).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Catania, at the foot of the stunning Mount Etna and overlooking the Ionian Sea, is a baroque city of art, a UNESCO World Heritage site along with the Val di Noto.
