HOW TO REACH US

The most convenient and well-connected airport is Catania-Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), located about 50 km from Piedimonte Etneo.
Travel Time: By car or taxi, the journey typically takes between 40 and 60 minutes, depending on traffic.

Options from the Airport:
Car Rental: Highly recommended for those who wish to explore the Etna area and surroundings freely. Numerous car rental companies are available directly at the airport.

Taxi: Available at the arrivals area. Be sure to check the approximate fare before departure.
Private Transfer: We can assist you in arranging a private transfer service from the airport to our B&B (check availability and book in advance).

Bus: There is a bus service that connects the airport to the Catania bus station or directly to some nearby towns. From there, you may need to take a taxi or another local means of transport to reach Piedimonte Etneo. This option is generally less direct and more time-consuming.

From Catania or Syracuse (coming from the South):
– Take the A18 motorway in the direction of Messina.
– Exit at Fiumefreddo di Sicilia.
– After the toll booth, keep right and follow the signs for Piedimonte Etneo (you’ll generally take the provincial/state road heading uphill).

From Messina or Taormina (coming from the North):
– Take the A18 motorway in the direction of Catania.
– Exit at Fiumefreddo di Sicilia.
– After the toll booth, follow the signs for Piedimonte Etneo (you’ll generally take the provincial/state road heading uphill).
– Alternatively, from Taormina, you can take the SS 114 state road south to Fiumefreddo and then follow the signs to Piedimonte Etneo.
